It was in the year 2011 when HBO came up with a fantasy drama series that changed the face of American television. Game Of Thrones has become such a rage that every year before a season begins fans come out with thousands of theories and post the conclusion, they keep themselves busy by scrutinising each and every detail until the next season begins. Such is the craze of the show that every true blue GoT fan has seen the show more than once, at least.
Now, here’s another piece of news that will make you wish you were a Londoner. Why you ask? Well, Prince Charles Theatre in London is celebrating the release of the seventh season and box set release of complete seasons 1-7 on Blu Ray by hosting a mind-blowing event where all 67 episodes of the show will be aired back to back for four days at a stretch!
Before you strike this off as fake news, here’s the official statement that they shared on their Facebook page:
To mark the release of Game of Thrones: THE COMPLETE SEVENTH SEASON and THE COMPLETE SEASONS 1 – 7 BOXSET on Blu-ray™ and DVD, die-hard fans of the record-breaking show can view it all in its entirety on the big screen for the very first time for four days and nights. The non-stop, cinematic takeover will begin at 7pm on Monday 27th until 6pm on Thursday 30th of November 2017, when lucky Game of Thrones fans will be able to experience this unique one off event.
This activity will be back-to back! If you’re wondering whether there’s going to be any meal breaks at all, then fret not, because they have it all figured out. For this epic three-day/70-hour event, they have a teamed up with London-based MOD Pizza, so you won’t have to worry about carrying snacks, because the pizzas are on the house!
What’s more, even the tickets are free but are subject to availability. They have planned to serve the promised pizzas during dinner breaks. In fact, anyone who manages to stay for the entire event will also win free pizzas for a year.
Imagine watching each and every character grow and evolve without any break along with fellow GoT fans. It sure sounds like one hell of an event right? This is like giving a whole new meaning to the term ‘marathon’ along with free pizzas, of course!
