‘Game Of Thrones’ Stars Finally Explain THAT Sex Scene

There’s a lot of sex in Game of Thrones. Yes, it has many merits aside from its saucy stuff, but there’s no denying that it is a bit of a shagfest compared to some other TV shows. But it doesn’t only feature a lot of sex – it also features a lot of weird sex. Sometimes properly baffling stuff. Incest. Orgies. Sex on horses. Sex next to corpses…

And then, of course, there’s that scene in the second episode of Season 7, when Grey Worm and Missandei finally hook up. It’s sweet and tender, and we’re very happy for them – but there was one big, vital question on everyone’s lips. If all members of the Unsullied were castrated as children, how exactly did they have sex? Hmmmm.

Speaking on the Game of Thrones Season 7 DVD commentary, Jacob Anderson – who portrays the man in question – has actually explained it quite simply, saying: “I think Grey Worm’s got a willy, is my understanding. But he doesn’t have balls.”

Ah right, well, okay. That’s settled then. Pretty simple when you think about it.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Nathalie Emmanuel (who plays Missandei) also opened up about the moment.

“There’s something unique about it purely because of Grey Worm’s situation. His brutal history of being mutilated – there’s a real sense of trust here and that really plays out in this lovely scene where they physically act upon their love,” she said.

“For him to do that is a really big deal and Missandei knows that and doesn’t really care. She just loves him and that intimacy they’ve shared comes to a head.”

See, guys, it’s actually about the sense of trust and the intimacy that they share – not about whether or not he’s got a willy or balls, or whatever.
